I have a counter on my blog and once a week I get a report on how many visitors my site has. i can also find out what city and country the visitor is from, how they linked to my site (many come through your blog--thanks!), and the tyoe of computer they use. Of course, I never know who, exactly, checked my blog out or where they actually live, but I'll know if they are from the Washington Post, a news agency, and even if they are from the Greensboro police Department.
I mentioned them in a couple of blogs and it turned out the police accessed those particular pieces.
