dead at 48

An article on Yahoo claims that Whitney Houston sang the greated redition of the national anthemn of all time.  I admit, she can hit those high notes and she can really sing.  She is also a great screamer.  Yahoos article claims she sang the song straight on, which she did not.  It sounds better when sang as written.

Yahoo also has a tribute page where people can leave their toughts about Ms. Houston.  It is a tragedy when anyone dies as young as 48 but what is most sad about that is it her own fault.  It's not like she died in a plane crash or by an IED or some randomly caught disease.

My younger brother and his wife played her "I will always love you" at their wedding which seems wrong because the song is a breakup song, not a love song.  The song isn't what it seems.  Whitney Houston may have seemed like a success, a great voice, a beautiful face and great figure, lots of money and a famous husband.  But her life was anything but successful.  Fights, arguments, drugs, a lost career, and finally death at 48.

She is proof that talent does not equal success and that fame and money does not equal happiness
