Traffic circles?

Randleman is reported to be building three traffic circles but I wonder if they are really round-a-bouts. Roundabouts are supposed to be far superior to traffic circles. In Traffic circles entering traffic has the right of way and it is difficult for motorists in the traffic circle to exit once traffic starts to build.
