After several days the exact cause of my wife's fall has been left undetermined. The doctor's did discover a small problem with her heart that will need future monitering but ruled out that and all other normal medical conditions as leading her to fall,
There was one possibility though and that was her blood pressure medication. Without having taken it and under very stressful situations, her blood preesure at the highest was 120/60 and would range from that to a low of 106/58. Those readings indicated that she did not need to be taking blood pressure medication which could lead to a sudden drop in blood pressure causing her to temporarily blackout and fall.
She was a step behind me when she fell and there was absolutely nothing there for her to have tripped over. Her fall wasn't executed the way one would have normally fell if they had tripped which lead me and the doctor's to believe there was a non normal reason for her to fall.
Hopefully she will be okay in time.
